During week 5, instructors, safety experts and industry representatives gathered at Toyota Material Handling’s annual instructor conference – and again this year MA system Utbildning had the pleasure of participating.

This year’s conference was held in Södertälje, with a closing workshop at Tom Tits Experiment, where inspiration, information and knowledge were the focus.

LECTURES ON SAFETY, RISK AND INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT

The program was as usual well-packed and offered several appreciated sessions.

Among other things, Arbetsmiljöverket (the Swedish Work Environment Authority) presented current accident statistics and risk trends in forklift work, something that engaged many of the participants. Arbetsmiljöverket’s work with inspections and safety issues continues to be an important part of the industry’s development.

MaskinLeverantörerna also provided an update on the new quality seal for training providers – a label that MA-system Utbildning has also been awarded and which has become an important indicator of quality and seriousness in the industry.

Länsförsäkringar Östgöta also shared insights into injury and risk statistics linked to forklift environments, which further clarified the importance of structured safety work and modern training methods.

A pleasing piece of news during the conference was that Toyota is now switching to digital instructor certificates. This is the future of the industry’s competence management – smooth, safe and completely in line with the development towards more digital and reliable routines.

On the last day, Toyota arranged workshops where participants could delve into practical and concrete training solutions.

Thank you for two fantastic days!
