Red Dot Award is divided into three main categories – Communication Design, Product Design and Design Concept. The first category alone (the category that MA-system competed in) saw 8,000 design project entries from 50 different countries.

The winners are selected by a jury consisting of 24 design and communication experts from 11 different countries.

This year, a total of 749 entries received the Red Dot accolade.

In addition, 67 special entries received the even more prestigious Best of the Best.

At MA-system, we are extremely proud to announce that eTruck has been awarded the distinction Best of the Best!

The Best of the Best winners will receive their trophy on stage in the presence of around 1,400 guests during a gala evening in Konzerthaus in Berlin in October.

During the ceremony, five winners will receive the Red Dot: Grand Prix award. We’re waiting with bated breath to see who it will be.
